Various optimization and infrastructure modifications lead to a price adjustment on all services. We are reducing the prices for domain names by an average of 16%. All reseller hosting plans, StarBiz and StarPlus subscription customers will receive a discount of 6%. Due to the performance enhancement which was introduced at the 1st of November 2011, all hostings of StarEntry subscription customers will get more powerful server hardware sometime during this year. As a result, we carry on this package only a slight price adjustment of additional 60 centime per month.

More powerful server!

To be able to continue to guarantee our customers a powerful and stable service, all of our server systems will be replaced with hardware of the newest technology until the end of 2012. Together with the replacement of the server hardware, the software components, operating system, webmail, PHP, MySQL, spam filter
and antivirus scanner will also be updated. The first servers have already been successfully updated. The conversion work will cause a brief interruption of approximately 45 minutes. The existing data will not be changed, so there are no adjustments needed to be done by our customers.
