Password security
FTP, database and email passwords are often identical. This creates a major security risk!
- After placing your order, we will send you your login details for your hosting account.
- Change your password right away after logging in. Always use different passwords for each separate login (My Panel, email, FTP, databases, etc.). Please note the minimum requirements for password strength.
Important: Please note that you should also always use different passwords when reinstalling software, tools and scripts on your web hosting account. When creating databases, you should also always define a new, separate password for each database.
By selecting different passwords, you reduce the risk of hackers getting their hands on your login details and gaining access to all areas of your web hosting account.
Make sure to keep your personal passwords and login details in a secure place – somewhere other than where your PC is located.
