In addition to around-the-clock server monitoring, Hoststar has implemented various security rules to block hacking attempts immediately.
The idea is that Hoststar closes security gaps in web applications and software even when the customer is not running the latest version of the application.
But because new security gaps are discovered each day, these precautions are certainly no replacement for closing these gaps by installing the necessary updates to the web application.

If, despite security precautions, a hacker still gains access to a web application or software and, for example, runs a script that sends spam, our monitoring system detects this in 1-2 minutes and notifies the on-call service. The on-call administrator removes the problematic script and closes the security gap right away.

Because hackers continue to discover new methods for gaining unauthorized access to websites and applications, Hoststar makes a proactive effort to prevent this to the greatest possible extent:
