The following technology features are available in our Hoststar Control Panel
- Email management
Our customers can set up POP3 mailboxes and email aliases. Email aliases can be forwarded to POP3 mailboxes or existing email addresses. You can set up catch-all aliases for each domain. You can forward an email address to up to 10 other email addresses or POP3 mailboxes.
- Language
Each customer can choose and save their preferred language (English / German) for the Hoststar Control Panel interface.
- Password change
The passwords for FTP users and the Hoststar Control Panel interface, FrontPage, database users, POP3 mailboxes, Webalizer / AWStats statistics, or for protected directories can be changed easily here.
- Subdomain & domain rules
Subdomains can be set up for all domains. Domains and subdomains can be transferred to any directory within the home directory. A wild card entry (*.domain.nic) can be created for a subdomain.
- Webalizer / AWStats statistics
The Webalizer / AWStats graphical evaluation is accessible via a link. The statistics are password protected. The password is changeable separately from the main user-password.

You can set up or delete your own MySQL databases yourself.

Because the installation of various technologies, such as forums, forms or guestbooks, is time-consuming and complicated, we offer you these already preconfigured. - FTP users
You can set up additional FTP users via our Hoststar Control Panel.
- Special login for FTP and POP3 users
Hoststar Control Panel provides limited interfaces for FTP and POP3 users. These interfaces allow only changing the user password and access to WebMail or WebFTP. Thus, end consumers can pass on FTP or POP3 users to third parties without having to disclose their own password.
- Hoststar Webmail Organizer

Webmail is a web interface with which you have access to your data worldwide at any time of day. You can use the whole range of functions, such as email inbox management, mail archiving, calendar function, task scheduling, notepad, address data management and a full GroupWare function, from any web browser.
- WebFTP
Web interface for upoading and downloading files on the server. An FTP program is not necessary.
- Mailing lists
You can set up Majordomo Mailing lists in your Hoststar Control Panel and manage them with the MajorCool web interface.
- Cronjobs
With Hoststar you can establish cronjobs. (Must be specially applied for / free of charge).
- SPAM protection
Mailboxes are filtered and spam mails are detected. Mail users can customize the spam filter settings themselves. If a customer is allowed to use the spam filter, their Webmail users can adapt the filter settings. Furthermore, new address book entries can be automatically added to a whitelist.
