Setting up an email program: Outlook ExpressWhen you have completed Setting up email addresses in the Hosting Control Panel you can then register these in Outlook Express.
5. Select the server type POP3 and enter the incoming mail server and the outgoing mail server in the fields provided.If you want to use IMAP, you can choose it as well. Your emails are staying directly on the server with IMAP and won’t be downloaded on your computer. This is for example practical if several computers access to the same email account.
Incoming mail server: The incoming mail server is derived from your domain name. Simply replace the "www." of your domain name with "mail." (e.g. "www.xyz.ch" --> "mail.xyz.ch" or "www.company.com" --> "mail.company.com").
Outgoing mail server: Set the same values here as for the incoming mail server. Alternatively, with many Internet Providers the outgoing mail server of your provider can be given instead (e.g. "smtp.bluewin.ch") in order to avoid problems with spam lists.
Then click "Next" again.
6. Enter the name of your mailbox as account name, and the password that belongs to it.If you do not know what the mailbox is called, please use the help in our guide to Setting up an email address in the Hosting Control Panel.

12. Confirm all open windows with "OK" so that the settings are accepted.After this, the setting up of the email account in Outlook Express is completed.
